On Friday, July 30, in Nikolaev launched the boat “Pryluky” and the raid minesweeper “Genichesk”.
At the Nikolaev shipbuilding plant (MSZ) their dock part of repair was completed.
In three months, the company’s specialists restored the exterior cladding, propeller-steering complex, power plants, mechanisms, etc.
The repair of warships took place under a contract with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, all work was completed on time.
“Thanks to the high professionalism and coordination of actions of employees of our company, the task was performed efficiently and in a timely manner. The Mykolayiv plant will continue to work to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities, “said Vadym Chaban, head of the shipbuilding and marine engineering department at Ukroboronprom.
Ships entered the waters of the state enterprise for repairs on April 1, 2021.
On April 9, the boat “Pryluky” and the raid minesweeper “Henichesk” entered the float to perform the dock repair.
In order for the boat and the minesweeper to get to the water area of the enterprise, three bridges were temporarily built in Mykolayiv: Pivdennobuzhsky, Ingulsky and pedestrian pontoon. The ships arrived on schedule. April 2 was set as the reserve day for building bridges.
