On the night of February 6-7, 2025, a powerful explosion occurred on the territory of military unit 52116 in the city of Dolgoprudny near Moscow.

As reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, explosives destroyed two Russian Valdai radar systems designed for round-the-clock automatic detection and counteraction of UAVs.

It is noted that this is the latest development of the Russian military-industrial complex – the first model in its class adopted by the army of the aggressor state Russia.

“The military unit where the Valdai missiles exploded is responsible for the safety of the airspace over Moscow,” the intelligence service added.

Destruction of complexes

As UNIAN reported, on January 29, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Special Operations Forces conducted a joint special operation to destroy the Andreapol oil pumping station, which is an important component of the Baltic Pipeline System-2.

As a result of the drone attack, the filtration pumping platform and tanks with additives were damaged at the station, an oil spill and a fire occurred. The Russians even had to stop the main pipeline that delivers oil to the Ust-Luga terminal in the Leningrad Region.

Another target of the SBU and the Special Operations Forces was the 23rd missile arsenal of the Russian Defense Ministry in the Tver Region. Drones hit the warehouse itself and three buildings of the military unit. Local residents counted more than 20 explosions and wrote in chats about evacuating the population.
