For each day of work, rescuers discover in the Kiev region from 4,000 to 5,000 explosive “traps” left by the Russian occupiers.

This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky on the air of the informational telethon .

“As for the Kiev region, it is much, much worse there (compared to Kiev, where the occupiers carried out mainly shelling from the air – UNIAN). In just one day, for each day of work, rescuers discover from 4 to 5 thousand explosive objects in these regions. According to international rules and approaches, one day of hostilities in any place is a month of demining. For example, if we can talk about hostilities for a month in Borodyanka, then we can “estimate” how much is enough for the entire territory to be demined to make it absolutely safe to be there,” Monastyrsky said.

He noted that, unfortunately, there is already a case when a citizen died from a grenade planted in the trunk of his car.

“Unfortunately, there are already tragic cases. Yesterday, for example, a citizen died who opened the trunk of his car while in one of the villages of the Kiev region, a grenade was planted there, it exploded. Unfortunately, such cases happen, “traps” are set by orcs , which retreated, and they have a different appearance: they can be tied to the front door when a person opens his house, or they can be on stairwells … Basically, these are grenades that have a fairly strong damage radius and, of course, can be injured people who will inadvertently enter houses,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized.

Earlier today, the Kiev regional military administration reported a humanitarian catastrophe in the Ivankiv, Dymer and Polesye communities.
