It is difficult to say how far these discussions have gone, but the EU believes they cannot be ignored.
The Kremlin is discussing a possible Russian invasion of NATO countries . Western intelligence agencies have evidence of this, European Commissioner for Defence Andrius Kubilius told Wyborcza in an interview .

“I trust the intelligence services. And German intelligence claims to have evidence that the Kremlin is discussing an attack on NATO. And if they are discussing it, are they planning an attack? We don’t know. But such signals must be taken deadly seriously. They may indeed be ready for war. We must also be prepared for it and learn not only from the experience of the Ukrainians but also from the Russians,” he said.
Kubilius acknowledged that the Russian army is bogged down in Ukraine, and this doesn’t suit anyone in the Kremlin. At the same time, he notes that Russia has adapted to modern warfare tactics and is producing a huge amount of weapons.
The European Commissioner added that Ukraine is ready to help Western allies prepare for a possible Russian invasion. However, Kubilius notes that simply purchasing interceptor drones and learning how to operate them will not be enough.
“We need to learn from the Ukrainians’ resilience. Look at their defense industry. It’s currently based on startups. But they don’t just produce… equipment; they monitor its use on the battlefield and constantly improve it. Drone companies actually have their own drone battalions. It’s amazing how the Ukrainians have freed themselves from bureaucratic structures in the face of the Russian attack,” the European Commissioner noted.
The Russian threat to Europe
As UNIAN reported, former NATO Secretary General George Robertson called on the British to “move away from peaceful thinking” and begin preparing for a major conflict . This includes preparing for everyday matters, such as stocking up on candles.
We also reported that NATO countries are directing their increased military budgets toward modernizing and expanding their tank fleets , even though the war in Ukraine has already led to a significant reduction in the role of armored vehicles.

Nobody wants or likes the EU and its NaZi ‘Commissioner’…
If true Germany better get it’s shit together and fast.
According to Reuters dater feb 2025
“‘50% battle-ready’: Germany misses military targets despite Scholz’s overhaul.”
They have even less Brigades now than they did in 22. 8 vs 10. and those are only 65% staffed.
They can barely field one division while a second is only at 20%.
No drones.
No air defense to speak of.
And only half of the air force can get off the ground.
Thus far the mighty hath fallen
Ukraine made the blueprint to stop russia. Destroy their ability to make money. I’m sure even NATO without the US can scrape up enough missiles to obliterate every russian oil refinery.
Based on recent actions, I don’t believe NATO would know what to do with a missile even if they had them.
It’s infuriating. The EU, the US and other countries have been slow and deliberately preventing Ukraine from forming a formidable offensive but now their asses are in danger they want Ukraine’s help. Unfortunately we still need whatever help they’d give us. My animosity would love to say…screw you!
