The Kremlin has ordered controlled media to look for the “Ukrainian trace” in the Moscow terrorist attack, – Meduza

This information was confirmed by representatives of two Russian pro-government publications.

The Kremlin has ordered state-owned and government-loyal Russian media to emphasize the “Ukrainian trace” in their publications about the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow. Employees of two different Russian publications told the opposition project Meduza about this .

The FSB issued a statement that there may be a “Ukrainian trace” in the case of the Moscow terrorists on the morning of March 23. The Russian intelligence service assured that after the terrorist attack, the criminals allegedly planned to cross the Russian-Ukrainian border – the most guarded and difficult border in Europe at the moment. The FSB also claimed that the detainees allegedly “had relevant contacts on the Ukrainian side.”

According to the FSB, the possible terrorists were detained on the night of March 23 in the Bryansk region on the way to the border. Russian opposition journalist Alexander Plyushchev noted that at first the Russian media reported about the detention in the village of Teply near the border with Belarus – one of the most poorly guarded in Europe outside the EU. And only then the place of detention suddenly moved to the village of Khatsun – away from Belarus.

  1. “Russian opposition journalist Alexander Plyushchev noted that at first the Russian media reported about the detention in the village of Teply near the border with Belarus – one of the most poorly guarded in Europe outside the EU.”

Reports have also confirmed that the number plates on the terrorists car were from Belarus. Coincidence?

    • I guess so, because I’m not convinced at all that Russian security got the right guys. As I see it, extremist islamist terrorists would rather try to flee towards a muslim majority republic, which offers the best opportunities to hide, to get support, and to be able to cross the border. A muslim in Belarus would stick out like a sore thumb, even Lukashenko’s security forces would carefully check such an obvious foreigner. So, imho that’s the totally wrong route for terrorists to take. The guys in the car may have been migrants instead, trying to move to the EU and getting caught in the dragnet. 🤔
