The terrorists who carried out the shooting of visitors at Moscow’s Crocus City Hall were paid half a million rubles for carrying out the terrorist attack. One of the detained terrorists spoke about this during preliminary interrogation.

In the video, probably filmed immediately after the arrest, a man of Central Asian appearance said that he was subscribed to a group or channel on Telegram, where he listened to “sermons.” The detainee claims that about a month ago he was contacted by a “preacher’s assistant” who did not give his first or last name, but offered 500 thousand rubles for a terrorist attack. Half of the amount was transferred to his card as an advance. 

Detainee : He offered such things here for money…

Interrogator : What’s going on? What exactly did he tell you?

Detainee : Such murders.

Interrogator : Who to kill?

Detainee : They gave up the place…

Interrogator : Did they say who exactly to kill? 

Detainee : People.

Interrogator : Which ones?

Detainee : No difference (further unintelligible)

As UNIAN wrote, according to the latest data from the Russian authorities, the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall claimed the lives of at least 115 people. In addition to those who died from terrorist bullets, victims of the subsequent fire were found – they suffocated from smoke.

Despite the first information about the Central Asian origin of the terrorists, Russian propaganda tried to link them with Ukraine. The GUR MOU called such statements nonsense.
