The Kremlin has come up with an explanation why the parade on May 9 will be held without military equipment

Russians will be left without the traditional spectacle on Red Square.

The Kremlin has decided to minimize the scale of the Victory Day celebrations in Moscow by refusing to allow military equipment to pass through, according to statements by the Russian dictator’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Russian media reports.

He noted that the main reason for this decision was the alleged threat from Ukraine. In his opinion, enhanced security measures are currently being taken to avoid incidents during official events.

“The Kiev regime, which is losing ground on the battlefield every day, is now fully deploying terrorist activity. And therefore, against the backdrop of this terrorist threat, of course, all measures are being taken to minimize the danger,” Peskov said.

In addition to “security” issues, the Kremlin found another excuse – the lack of a round date. Peskov urged not to compare this year’s event with last year’s, since the latter allegedly had a special status.

“Let’s not forget, though, that last year it was an anniversary parade. A large-scale one, one that should be on a round date. This date is not an anniversary, but the parade will still be there, yes, even if in a shortened format,” said the Russian dictator’s spokesman.

Thus, the parade in Moscow on May 9 this year will be held without the traditional demonstration of armored vehicles. Only foot columns await the aggressor country on the main square.

Doesn’t an anniversary come around every year? What a pathetic excuse.
