The IEA predicted a drop in Russian oil exports due to sanctions and a shortage of buyers

Russian oil supplies to world markets in April by almost 3 million barrels per day due to sanctions against Russia and the refusal of traditional buyers of Russian energy resources.

This is stated in an updated forecast of the International Energy Agency (IEA, IEA), according to Reuters.

“We see a decrease in total (Russian, – ed.) Exports by 2.5 million barrels per day, of which oil accounts for 1.5 million barrels per day, and petroleum products – 1 million barrels per day,” – said in a monthly IEA reports.

In addition, the decline in domestic demand for petroleum products in Russia is projected.
