The first low-floor tram, produced by the Odessa company, was sent to Kiev

The Odessa company “Tatra-Yug” delivered its first low-floor tram to Kiev. The K-1T306 model went to the capital.

In contrast to its well-known relative “Odyssey-Max”, this model is completely low-floor.

The car is equipped with 60 seats, including for people with disabilities, and a climate control unit with air conditioning. In total, the 26-meter three-section tram can carry about 300 passengers.

Tatra-Yug won an international tender of the European Investment Bank for the supply of 20 low-floor trams for Kyivpastrans.

According to the Center for Transport Strategies, this model has already been successfully tested in Dnipro. The first tram for Kiev will be located at the Darnytskyi depot and, after commissioning, will enter the route along the left bank.
