The countries of the European Union should help Ukraine defend itself against Russian aggression by providing it with the necessary weapons .
The statement was made by the Chair of the European Parliament’s Defense Committee Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, ZDF reports . She calls on the governments of Germany and other countries to take additional measures to increase the effectiveness of the F-16 fighters that arrived in Ukraine.
“All states – not just Germany – must do everything in their power to protect Ukraine and enable it to continue to defend itself. This includes air defense units and, whether the Chancellery wants it or not, Taurus cruise missiles,” she told the Rheinische Post.
Taurus missiles for Ukraine
Kyiv has repeatedly called on Germany to provide long-range missiles to the Ukrainian army. Great Britain and France have already supplied the Ukrainian Armed Forces with weapons of this type.
In Ukraine, they promised that Taurus would be used only on the territory of the country , but German Chancellor Olaf Scholz categorically rejected this idea. In Berlin, they are afraid that one day Ukraine will strike Moscow with German missiles, which would allegedly drag Germany into the war.

Can a leader of a major country be so impudent to practically accuse Ukraine of violating its promises, after seeing the country keeping them, over and over again? Scholz’s fear of muscovy being hit is just a sick excuse. There’s more to it than that. Scholz can’t possibly be so stupid or such a scared girl. Or?
How can this pinhead even sleep, knowing that his indecision is helping the aggressor country to bomb innocent women and children each and every day?
