EU Foreign Affairs High Representative Kaja Kallas commented on the US “peace plan” for the war in Ukraine , saying that for the agreement to work, it needs to be supported by both Ukrainians and Europeans.
As Newsweek reports , opening the meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels, Kallas stated that Europe has always supported a long-term and just peace and welcomes any efforts to achieve it.
“Of course, for any plan to work, Ukrainians and Europeans are needed, this is absolutely obvious,” she said.
Kallas also stressed that in this war “there is one aggressor and one victim,” and there are no signs of concessions from Russia yet.
“If Russia really wanted peace, it could have agreed to an unconditional ceasefire some time ago, but tonight we see the bombing of civilians again,” she added.
Asked whether the EU was involved in the US development, Kallas said: “As far as I know, no.”
She also said that the plan would be discussed today by the heads of the EU foreign ministries.
The US “peace plan” for Ukraine
According to media reports, the US plan calls for the Ukrainian army to withdraw from the entire Donbas, and for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to be reduced in size and combat readiness. Trump’s plan also obliges Russian troops to return some of the territories they captured in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
The plan also stipulates that Ukraine renounce its demands for the deployment of peacekeeping forces and NATO membership . In exchange, Moscow pledges not to attack Ukraine or other European countries and will enshrine this promise in law.

This from the country that states that the sale of Alaska was illegal. Putin violated six treaties with his invasion starting with the founding of the UN and ending with the so called Treaty of Friendship. what makes ANYONE think this Peace plan will be any different?
Russia will make up whatever bull shite it needs to do whatever it wants.
