Cadets of the Faculty of Airborne Assault Troops Training of the Odessa Military Academy are mastering NLAW anti-tank missile systems transferred to Ukraine by the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
This was reported to Dumskaya by the press service of the university.

“We are ready to meet the enemy, and not with flowers,” the academy stressed.
NLAW (Next generation Light Anti-tank Weapon) is an almost unparalleled ATGM, specially designed for fighting in populated areas. Firing range – from 20 to 800 meters, weight – 12.5 kg, cost – 20 thousand pounds, which is not so much.
It can work in the temperature range from -38 to +63 degrees Celsius. The initial speed of the rocket is 40 meters per second, the maximum is 200.
The difference between the ATGM is the implementation of the “fire and forget” principle without the use of thermal imaging systems. Missile guidance is carried out using the “predicted line of sight” (predicted line-of-sight, PLOS) mode.
The rocket has powerful energy, its flight time at a distance of 400 meters is less than two seconds. And the whole system is built to minimize the time from identifying the target to destroying it – no more than 10-15 seconds.
The complexes can be used from the premises, which makes them especially dangerous for the enemy.

The president bears full responsibility for everything. Where is the peace he promised?

Learning how to turn Ruskie tanks into burning, smoking hulks is an important and fun thing to do, I’m sure.
