“The enemy is already feeling the consequences”: Syrsky spoke about Ukraine’s successes in the use of drones and Deep Strike

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to increase the effectiveness of the use of drones on the frontline and deep behind enemy lines. During June, drones performed over 437,000 combat missions and hit over 200,000 confirmed targets, as well as dozens of strategically important objects within the Deep Strike direction.

This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, following the meeting. He added that the enemy is already feeling the consequences of these strikes, and their intensity and effectiveness will only increase in the future.

The effectiveness of Ukrainian drones is increasing

According to the general, unmanned technologies are one of the decisive factors on the battlefield today. After all, drones make it possible to inflict significant losses on the enemy, weaken his combat capabilities and strengthen the positions of Ukrainian troops. That is why the development of unmanned aircraft and ground robotic platforms remains among the priorities in strengthening Ukraine’s defense potential.

“During June, unmanned aviation complexes of the Defense Forces of Ukraine performed over 437 thousand combat missions. More than 200 thousand verified enemy targets were hit. We are consistently increasing our strike capabilities. For comparison, in May this figure was almost 180 thousand. With the help of unmanned systems, almost 28 thousand Russian occupiers were hit in June,” Syrsky emphasized.

Deep Strike hits the enemy’s rear with increasing force

He added that Ukrainian defenders continue to increase their advantage over the Russian occupiers in the use of FPV drones. If in May the ratio of successful hits was 1.5 to 1 in favor of the Defense Forces, then in June this figure increased to 1.6 to 1.

At the same time, the Middle Strike direction is actively developing. According to the commander-in-chief, during June our fighters delivered about 3.4 thousand strikes with means of this class, while a month earlier there were almost 2 thousand.

In addition, Ukraine is strengthening its Deep Strike capabilities. In June, the Defense Forces successfully struck 172 enemy targets located in the operational and strategic depths of enemy territory.

“The enemy is already feeling the consequences of these strikes. Their intensity and effectiveness will continue to grow,” Syrsky assured.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are increasing the capabilities of robotic complexes

Another area of work, according to the commander-in-chief, remains the development of ground robotic platforms, as their wider use for delivering cargo, evacuating the wounded, and conducting combat operations makes it possible to reduce risks to personnel and save the lives of servicemen.

The general noted that during June, such complexes performed almost 17 thousand various tasks . For comparison, in May this figure was about 12.5 thousand.

During June, drones performed more than 437 thousand combat missions.

In addition, the meeting discussed further improvement of electronic warfare equipment, the use of unmanned systems to defend the Ukrainian coast, carrying out operations in the maritime area, and ensuring the safe functioning of the maritime grain corridor.

Key tasks for the near future were also identified. The Defense Forces plan to further expand the Middle Strike and Deep Strike units, enhance their capabilities, and accelerate the training of specialists to work with such systems.

“The enemy’s forces, its military logistics, warehouses, control points, energy infrastructure and other important facilities will continue to be under constant fire from the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Ukrainian unmanned systems maintain a technological advantage and will become even smarter, more effective and longer-range. The enemy will feel this every day,” the message says.

The Defense Forces plan to further expand the Middle Strike and Deep Strike units.

As OBOZ.UA reported, Syrsky previously stressed that Russia is already showing signs of exhaustion , but it is still premature to talk about a turning point in the war. The Ukrainian military continues to inflict significant losses on the enemy and systematically reduce its combat capabilities.
