More than three weeks after fuel shortages first spread across Russia, the crisis continues to deepen. Long lines at gas stations, rationing, and growing public frustration have become part of daily life in many regions, while drivers report increasing problems after filling up with lower-grade fuel introduced to ease the shortage. At the same time, Ukraine’s long-range drone campaign continues to target Russia’s oil infrastructure, including the country’s largest refinery in Omsk, adding further pressure to an already strained fuel supply system.
