This night and morning, the enemy launched a massive attack on the capital region, targeting not only Kyiv but also the Kyiv region. The Russian attack left destruction in many areas, with casualties.

According to the Chairman of the Kyiv Regional Administration , Mykola Kalashnik , the consequences of the attack were recorded in five districts of the region.

In particular, the Brovarsky district suffered significantly, with six high-rise buildings damaged.

“In one of them, the ceiling between the 8th and 9th floors was destroyed. Fifty-two people, including three children, were evacuated from the building,” he said.

Also, private homes, more than 20 garages, cars, and a shopping center building were damaged.

In addition, two private homes and a production facility were damaged in the Obukhovsky district, and private homes were damaged in the Vyshgorodsky and Buchansky districts.

Kalashnik also reported that the city of Fastiv was temporarily without power as a result of the attack:

“Critical infrastructure here has now switched to backup power. Water supply, sewerage, gas, and communications systems are operational. The points of invincibility are ready for operation.”

The State Emergency Service clarified that two people were injured as a result of the attack – one as a result of the impact and the destruction of a high-rise building in Brovary.

“A fire broke out on the 8th and 9th floors. Two people were injured, and one was taken to a hospital,” rescuers reported.

The State Emergency Service also showed photos of the aftermath of the attack.
