BREAKING NEWS: More than 600,000 consumers in Kyiv are without power: the Ministry of Energy reported on the consequences of the Russian attack.

More than 500 thousand consumers in Kyiv were without power.

Last night and this morning, the enemy launched another massive missile and cannon attack on energy infrastructure facilities, the seventh in the last two months. More than half a million consumers in Kyiv and the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions were left without power .

As reported by the Ministry of Energy on Telegram , on the night of November 28-29, the enemy launched a massive missile and drone strike on energy infrastructure facilities in Kyiv, as well as in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions.

“As a result of the attack, more than 500,000 consumers in Kyiv, more than 100,000 in the Kyiv region, and almost 8,000 in the Kharkiv region were without power by the morning,” the department noted.Video of the day

In particular, as DTEK clarified , due to the enemy attack, residents of parts of the Obolonsky, Solomensky, Shevchenkivsky, Podolsky, Holosiivsky, and Svyatoshinsky districts of Kyiv were left without power.

Currently, emergency recovery operations are being carried out where the safety situation allows.

As of now, no emergency shutdowns are being introduced.

“Hourly outage schedules are in effect in all regions of Ukraine. Also, in most regions of Ukraine, power limitation schedules for industrial consumers and businesses remain in effect,” the Ministry of Energy reports.
