The distance to the target reaches more than 600 kilometers.

The security and defense forces of Ukraine attacked the missile storage arsenal in the Volgograd region, an informed source told UNIAN.
“On the night of September 29, as a result of a joint operation of the GUR, SSO, SBU, SZR and ZSU, an arsenal of rockets, ammunition and explosive materials of the 1st category was damaged in the village of Kotluban, Volgograd region of the Russian Federation,” the source said.
According to Ukrainian intelligence sources, the arsenal was attacked on the night of September 29 around 2:30 am. 120 kamikaze attack drones of various types of Ukrainian production were used for the attack. The distance to the target reaches more than 600 kilometers.
“As reported by the Russian public on social networks, loud explosions were heard in the area of the hit, after which a large-scale fire started. As a result of the hit, storage places for ammunition and missile weapons were damaged, which will cause a shortage of ammunition to supply the units of the occupation army of the Russian Federation,” the source added.
Other operations of the Ukrainian special services
As UNIAN reported, on September 18 it became known that Ukrainian UAVs hit a warehouse with ammunition in the city of Toroptsi, Tver region. It was reported that at the time of the attack, up to 30,000 different types of ammunition were in stock.
Subsequently, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the destruction of two more large warehouses with ammunition on the territory of Russia – in the Krasnodar Territory and in the Tver Region. In particular, the Tikhoretsk arsenal in the Krasnodar Territory is one of the three largest munitions storage bases of the occupiers and is one of the key ones in the logistics system of the Russian troops.
According to military expert Ivan Stupak, thanks to strikes on large warehouses with ammunition on the territory of the Russian Federation , Ukraine received a “certain head start” before the heating season in the form of several months. The expert believes that the loss of such a quantity of ammunition may affect the ability of the Russian Federation to carry out massive shelling.
