The eliminated occupier participated in the dispersal of Euromaidan in 2014, and later betrayed his oath and joined the Russians.

Oleg Semov, a reserve lieutenant colonel of the Russian National Guard and deputy commander of the BARS-32 detachment of the Sudoplatov battalion, has been eliminated.

This was reported by the occupation “governor” of the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevhen Balytsky. The death of the high-ranking occupier was also confirmed by an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Anatoly Shtefan, known by the call sign “Stirlitz”.

“Oleg stood at the origins of the creation of the people’s militia of the Zaporizhia region, served as deputy commander in the volunteer detachment “BARS-32″ of the Sudoplatov battalion. He sincerely loved Russia, fought bravely, protecting the security of the Zaporizhia region. Oleg is survived by three children,” Balytsky wrote.

Propaganda media outlets note that Semov died on June 12, 2025 from injuries sustained in March.

According to Stefan, the liquidated occupier took part in the dispersal of Euromaidan in 2014, and later betrayed his oath and joined the Russians. According to the Myrotvorets database, he is originally from Kazakhstan and lived in Crimea. Since March 2021, he has retired and become the head of the “Youth Army” headquarters in the city of Sudak.

When Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began, Semov arrived in occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhia region, where he became the deputy commander of the “people’s militia detachment.”
