Today, June 7, the Franco-German arms group KNDS is officially formalizing the creation of a subsidiary company in Ukraine.

As reported by  Le Figaro , KNDS is one of the main European players in the field of ground weapons. This holding produces artillery systems, battle tanks, as well as Caesar guns, which France supplies to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the subsidiary will produce military equipment and ammunition on Ukrainian territory. The Ministers of Defense of France and Germany, Sebastien Lecornu and Boris Pistorius, said this.

As expected, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Lecornia are expected to visit the location of the armed group in Versailles near Paris today.

Arms factories in Ukraine

El Mundo wrote that Ukraine built a classified network of underground factories for  the production of weapons . The publication’s sources claim that Ukrainian factories continue to produce ammunition and armored vehicles, but have now been moved underground due to extensive destruction in the early days of the war. Some factories are completely underground, others are simply camouflaged: hidden by “huge scenery”.

In March, it was reported that the German defense concern  Rheinmetall  will start construction of a projectile plant in Ukraine in the near future, as well as the production of armored vehicles.

The German  Quantum-Systems GmbH , which specializes in the production of UAVs, opened another enterprise in Ukraine in April.
