During the day on January 7, Ukrainian defenders eliminated and wounded another 1,400 Russian occupiers. In addition, dozens of units of various enemy equipment were destroyed on the battlefield.
Since the start of the full-scale war, the total losses of the enemy have already amounted to 1,215,900 people. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past 24 hours, 6 tanks, 9 armored vehicles, and 17 artillery systems were destroyed. The enemy’s total losses are 11,521 tanks, 23,874 armored personnel carriers, and 35,874 artillery systems.
Russian terrorists have also lost 1,596 multiple launch rocket systems and 1,269 air defense systems since the beginning of the war.
Total Russian losses increased to 434 aircraft, 347 helicopters and 102,074 UAVs. Since the beginning of the war, the Air Defense Forces have destroyed 4,137 Russian cruise missiles.
In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already sunk 28 Russian ships during the war, disposed of 73,336 units of automotive equipment and tanker trucks, as well as 4,037 special equipment.
As a reminder, on the night of January 7, Ukrainian troops attacked the Oskolnaftopostach oil depot near the settlement of Kotel, Belgorod Region, Russia. As a result of hits on the tanks, a large-scale fire was recorded at the facility.
As OBOZ.UA reported, on the night of January 6, 2026, the front strike units of the Special Operations Forces successfully struck at the occupiers’ facilities in the temporarily captured territories of the Donetsk region. Using FP-2 strike drones, our soldiers hit two enemy convoys .
