American businessman and philanthropist Howard Buffett visited the frontline
city of Kherson , which is constantly under attack by the Russian Federation. He
visited one of the city’s underground hospitals , where doctors perform operations in safe conditions and people recover from interventions.
Howard talked to them, supported doctors and patients. This was reported by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko, on Facebook .

According to him, Buffett saw in Kherson the difficult conditions in which the medical system of the front-line city operates today .

A separate part of the meeting was the American’s communication with the little Kherson residents, which took place thanks to the “United by the Love of Children” project. Howard Buffett visited the groups where children are engaged, and gave them gifts .

The guest gave them sincere emotions and attention, which Ukrainians, who grow up under the constant threat of shelling, need. After that, he took part in the children’s New Year’s celebration .

“For Kherson, such support and the personal presence of people who are not afraid to come to a front-line city, see reality with their own eyes, and be close to our residents are extremely important. Thank you Howard Buffett for supporting Kherson, for his humanity, and for believing in our community,” wrote Shanko.

Earlier, in December last year, philanthropist Howard Buffett visited the areas near the frontline town of Kupyansk , where the Russian army continues to shell. He made the trip with the White Angel special forces unit .
The day before, the businessman’s foundation provided an armored car for the evacuation of civilians in the Kharkiv region .
As OBOZ.UA reported, in November last year, American actress Angelina Jolie paid a secret visit to Ukraine . The star visited very close to the front line, namely in the city of Kherson.

What a great bloke : putting himself in harm’s way, boosting morale and donating big money.
What a shame that most other wealthy people don’t act like Mr Buffett.
I fully agree. I’ve gained much respect for Mr. Buffett for his support and for his bravery in going to Ukraine.
