The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the Saki airfield in Crimea with drones: which occupiers’ facilities were hit.

28 November 2025

Ukrainian defenders attacked military targets in the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea with drones. Our drones missed the Saki airfield, which is currently used by the troops of the Russian Federation.

The successful operation was carried out by units of the Naval Forces together with units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Navy press service published a video of the strikes on the peninsula on Friday, November 28, on its Telegram channel.

What is known about the shelling of the enemy airfield?

Ukrainian soldiers managed to confirm that at the occupied Saki airfield:

– command and control center;

– storage locations for Orion attack UAVs;

– several air defense facilities, including:

  • Tor-M2;
  • Pantsir-C1;
  • ZU 23-2 based on KamAZ.

  1. “destroyed the Saki airfield”
    “Our drones missed the Saki airfield”

    I’m guessing “missed” is a mistranslation?

    • I assumed that, too. It often happens and when I don’t go through the effort to proofread Aboz’s articles, which I rarely do anymore, such mistakes remain standing.
