Taiwan has handed over to Ukraine a batch of 800 Revolver 860 short-range bomber drones.

This is reported by Ukrinform with reference to Bild.

“Taiwan handed over 800 Revolver 860 drones to Ukraine,” the report reads.

The drone is capable of carrying up to eight 60-millimeter mines or ammunition of other calibers, dropping them one by one on command.

When fully charged, the drone can fly up to 20 kilometers within 40 minutes.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the authorities of Norway and Great Britain will jointly purchase Norwegian Black Hornet micro-drones, worth a total of NOK 90 million ($9.3 million), to be supplied to Ukraine. Money will be raised through a fund led by Britain, to which Norway has contributed 400 million kroner.

The drone, developed in Norway, is the world’s leader in its segment. It is operated by a number of NATO Allies, including the USA and Great Britain. The drone is used for reconnaissance and target identification.

  1. That’s great. I’m glad that military aid is being handed over by Taiwan. They make good products.

  2. Damn, that is really useful.
Maybe I am a hater, but I think in most cases this is much more useful than these kamikaze drones.

Yes the payload may be slightly bigger but you are wasting a lot of materials, such as engines, sensors and chips.

Maybe for specific targets it is useful, for example if a target is hiding under a tree or a building.

Also really interesting that Taiwan does this.
They probably started to realise that if Russia succeeds, China will feel emboldened and they will try an invasion.

  3. Fantastic tiny bomber, nightmare for tanks and ships. Probably can fly above target not too high before it knows drone is there. Apparently under $50,000!
