35 years ago today there was unscheduled Swan Lake on Soviet TV…and a coup by hardliners in the USSR. How are today’s Russian papers remembering the August 1991 coup?
35 years ago some russians blamed the collective West or NATO for the collapse of the USSR. It’s nice to see that nothing has changed in the shithole. It’s never their own incompetence or mismanagement that causes problems, but the hated West. History is repeating itself, hopefully Swan Lake will once again be aired on russian TV.
