As reported by the commander of one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Denys Yaroslavskyi, the situation in Vovchansk is difficult. The city was on the verge of encirclement.

The military said that the first line of fortifications and mines simply did not exist. The enemy freely entered the gray zone, along the entire border line, which in principle should not be gray.
“For 2 years, concrete fortifications of minus 3 floors were supposed to stand on the Ukrainian border! And there were not even mines. We come to the opinion that this is either a rampant theft or deliberate sabotage,” the military officer said.
Yaroslavskyi added that the Armed Forces are losing people, territories and are doing what they already did on September 22.
