Oleksandr Kovalenko, military and political observer of the Information Resistance group, says that the Kerch Bridge remains the main logistical transit hub for supplying the Russian southern group of troops.
He said this on Espreso TV.
“The Kerch bridge is an illegal construction and it must be destroyed. I don’t know how the analytical groups came to the conclusion that the Kerch bridge is not used to transport military cargo, equipment and ammunition. There is a concept of logistics. This is a set of material resources used to supply troops, starting with the mechanized component – tanks, armored personnel carriers, artillery, ammunition. If we see a passenger car passing over the bridge, it does not mean that there are civilians there, not personnel for rotation,” Kovalenko explained.
According to the military observer, the Kerch Bridge remains the main logistics transit hub for supplying the Russian southern group of troops.
“The fuel and lubricants that are transported in tanks across the Kerch bridge are not to deliver milk to consumers in Crimea, no. The fuel and lubricants are being transported to refuel Russian tanks and armored combat vehicles. For some reason, analytical groups use long-range satellite images that are not detailed. But the Crimean monitoring groups constantly record how not only fuel and lubricants are being transported across the Kerch bridge, but also equipment – howitzers, armored combat vehicles, T-62 tanks,” Kovalenko emphasized.
- Analysts from The Independent and Molfar report that Russia has begun using land routes in occupied Crimea to supply its troops in Ukraine after repeated Ukrainian attacks on the Kerch bridge.

“I don’t know how the analytical groups came to the conclusion that the Kerch bridge is not used to transport military cargo, equipment and ammunition.”
Me neither. I said all along that those reports are baloney. It makes perfect sense to use this bridge for military logistics, at least for as long as it still exists. That’s why it must be destroyed.
From Business Insider:
While the delivery of such a small number of F-16s should not be overestimated, Mertens believes they could significantly impact Crimea.
“Crimea is vulnerable: the Russians have relatively limited maneuver space on the Peninsula, resupply is dependent on the Kerch bridge, and here Putin has a lot to lose both politically and militarily,” he said.
“If a limited number of fighters can have a real impact, it is here.”

Thanks for sharing this, Mr. Slimpan. I just posted this very same article. 😉

I have no doubt that the source of the information saying that russia does not use the bridge to transport military equipment any longer, originated in russia.
I was thinking that maybe they were trying to convince the ruskies that the Ukrainians no longer see the bridge as a priority target anymore, or even dropping it completely as one. This would make the roaches drop their guard.
