The city of Selidovo in Donetsk Oblast is gradually coming under the control of the Russian army. This was reported by military observer Denis Popovich, NV reports .

“Selidovo is gradually, unfortunately, coming under the control of the Russian Federation. It looks very much like this could be the Ugledar variant,” he said.

According to him, the situation in and around the city is tending to worsen:

“A significant area of ​​the city has already been captured by the enemy… The enemy is also trying to encircle the city. There was quite alarming information that virtually all logistics routes from Selidovo have been cut off or are under enemy fire control.”

As Popovich added, the Defense Forces are catastrophically short of people to hold back the advance of the Russians, who can be compared to cockroaches:

“I heard a very apt comparison that now the actions of the Russian Federation in Selidovo can be compared to a large number of cockroaches that we are trying to kill… Some of them were eliminated, but some hid, consolidated their positions, some more infantry arrived, and from new positions they are beginning a new assault.”
