A sanctioned tanker with 43 thousand tons of gasoline departed from the port that serves the plant.

Nayara Energy’s refinery, which is partly owned by Russia’s largest oil company Rosneft , has resumed gasoline exports after European Union sanctions, Reuters reports .

The Tempest Dream, which was carrying about 43,000 metric tons (363,350 barrels) of gasoline, set sail on Aug. 4, according to sources and LSEG. The tanker, which was hit with U.K. sanctions in June, is headed to Oman, according to shipping data. It is unclear who bought the fuel.

Another tanker, Sard, is currently in the western Indian port of Vadinar, which is used by Nayara. According to the newspaper, it is due to pick up 43,000 tons of diesel fuel.

At the same time, journalists note that Nayara was forced to reduce oil refining volumes at its Vadinar refinery, partly owned by Rosneft, due to difficulties in selling fuel as a result of EU sanctions.
