Attacks by unknown drones on oil refining facilities continue in Russia. In addition to the Samara region, there was also noise in the Lipetsk region of the aggressor country.
This is reported by the Russian mass media. An oil refinery was attacked there, Channel 24 reports.
An oil refinery was attacked in the Lipetsk region
Russian propagandists said that in the early morning of March 15, on the territory of the Stanova station, which is part of the Druzhba oil pipeline, the remains of “two detonated aircraft-type UAVs” were discovered.
The Russians emphasized that there was no apparent fire, no damage, and no casualties. According to the governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, two drones “were suppressed by other means in the Stanovlyan district.”
It is worth noting that this is the second region of the aggressor country where oil refining facilities are attacked. It is noteworthy that the Stanova oil refinery is located more than 360 kilometers from the state border of Ukraine with the aggressor country.

In the Samara region of Russia, two refineries were attacked
- In the morning of March 16, the Russian media reported that as many as two oil refineries were attacked in the Samara region . According to preliminary data, these objects were hit by unknown drones.
- One of the enterprises that was attacked is an oil refinery in Syzran. A fire broke out there, and the total burning area of the fire occupied about 500 square meters.
- Another object that was damaged in the Samara region after the attack was the Novokuibyshiv Oil Refinery. There was also a fire there, but according to preliminary data, it has already been extinguished.
- According to local authorities, there are allegedly no victims as a result of the “attack”. Also, the governor of the Samara region assured that the attack seems to have been repulsed.
- Telegram channels wrote that the refinery in Syzran belongs to Rosneft. According to the Russians, the “heart” of the plant, which processes oil, was damaged.
- The network also showed footage of the moment of the impact on the oil refinery in Syzran. According to preliminary data, the attack took place at 6 a.m. local time. The Russian Ministry of Defense or other official bodies of the Russian government have not yet commented on the incident involving attacks on oil refineries in the Samara region.
