This year’s main naval parade in St. Petersburg, which was planned for July 27, the day of the VMI, has been canceled without explanation.

As Censor.NET reports , this was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
It is noted that no reason has been officially announced. However, it is already known that neither the passage of ships on the Neva River nor the festive salute from the Peter and Paul Fortress will take place.
According to analysts at the Central Military Commission, the refusal to hold the parade may be due to the fact that Russia’s war against Ukraine is increasingly affecting its internal life, including high-profile and symbolic events that are designed to demonstrate the “strength” of the state.
“The Kremlin can no longer pretend that the war does not concern the Russian rear. Russian ships cannot feel safe even on their own territory,” the Center noted.
The Central Military District also drew attention to the fact that, against the backdrop of the cancellation of the parade, reports appeared about the possible decommissioning of the only Russian aircraft carrier, Admiral Kuznetsov.

No explanations needed. This is self-explanatory.
What navy? 🤣
Too bad – it would have made a lovely target.
