It is noted that the Kremlin has dismissed the commander of Russian troops in Syria.

After three days of successful offensive actions by pro-Turkish forces in Syria, Russian troops have suffered significant losses . Some Russian units are surrounded,  the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reports .

The department noted that hundreds of Russian soldiers are listed as missing in action. Against the backdrop of such failures, the commander of Russian troops in Syria, General Sergei Kisel, was dismissed.

Previously, he was responsible for the failed actions of Russian occupiers in Ukraine, the GUR added. For this, he was fired from his previous position, after which he was sent to Syria.

According to intelligence sources, Kisel will be replaced by General Alexander Chaiko, who commanded Russian troops in Syria from 2017 to 2019. He has already arrived in the Arab country.

In addition to Chaiko, the commander of the Russian Navy, Admiral Alexander Moiseyev, was spotted in Syria. He was at the naval base in the city of Tartus.

  1. Ruzzian army is just a big f*cking joke. The fact western powers still don’t realize that is mind-blowing.
