In the Nikolaev region, Russian occupiers dropped explosives on a civilian riding a moped and attacked police officers who arrived at the scene.
As reported by the head of the Nikolaev OVA Vitaly Kim, the emergency occurred in the afternoon in the village of Dmitrovka of the Kutsurub community. According to him, the enemy attacked Dmitrovka three times with FPV drones. As a result, one of the UAVs hit a 43-year-old man who was riding a moped.
“Unfortunately, he died on the spot from his injuries. The Russians fired two other FPV drones at the police officers who arrived at the call. The hits caused a fire that completely destroyed the service vehicle. The law enforcement officers were not injured,” the official said.
The regional headquarters of the National Police reported that as a result of the treacherous attack, a local resident who was riding a moped through the specified settlement and Nikolaevsky district died:
“The enemy carried out repeated strikes with FPV drones on a police vehicle that arrived at the scene to document the aftermath of a previous enemy attack.”
A criminal case has been opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding the violation of the laws and customs of war.
