UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has positive impressions of the recent BRICS summit, which took place in Kazan, Russia, Russian media reports.
Guterres especially enjoyed his visit to the Kazan Kremlin, which he called “a wonderful wonder of the world.”
I believe that all summits that bring countries together are of decisive importance because they help solve global problems,” the UN Secretary General noted.
Guterres’ trip to BRICS summit
On October 23, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres arrived at the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia. There he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Interestingly, Guterres had previously refused to participate in the Peace Summit, which was held in Switzerland at the initiative of Ukraine.
