Late in the evening of November 18, Russians attacked Glukhov in Sumy Oblast with two “Shaheds” and hit a dormitory, there are many dead and wounded, including children. This was reported by the Sumy Oblast Administration.

Updated 10.10. Rescuers have pulled the body of the deceased from under the rubble, the total number of dead has risen to 9 people, including 1 child. 11 were injured, including 2 children.

There are probably 4 more people under the rubble.

Updated 9.20. According to the State Emergency Service , 8 people died as a result of the enemy attack, including 1 child. Preliminary, 11 people were injured, including 2 children. There are probably 5 more people under the rubble.

As of 7 a.m., preliminary information is available about 6 dead, including one child. 12 people are injured, including two children.

Attack on a hostel in Glukhov

The Sumy Regional State Administration reports that emergency work is ongoing and that there may still be residents under the rubble.

According to local media , among the dead were a mother and child.

Updated 8.45. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has already responded to the attack .

He noted that as a result of the destruction of a dormitory of one of the educational institutions, seven people are known to have died, including a child. Also, more than ten people were injured, including two children, and there are probably more people under the rubble.

“Every day we call on the world to be decisive and strong enough for Ukraine to block these attacks on our people. Every new attack by Russia only confirms Putin’s true intentions. He wants the war to continue. He is not interested in peace talk. We must force Russia to a just peace by force,” Zelensky emphasized.
