As a result of the attack, there are also victims, one woman was taken to the hospital.

On the night of November 11, Russian occupation forces attacked Mykolaiv with attack drones.  The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced  the threat of UAVs in the city and region.

“There are fires in residential buildings in the city, all services are on the ground,” said  the head of Mykolayiv OVA Vitaly Kim.

As specified in the regional headquarters of the National Police, the drones hit high-rise and private buildings in different areas of the city. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on the upper floors of a four-story building.

“Unfortunately, as a result of the hits, five people died – four residents of a private house – three women and a man, as well as – a resident of an apartment building. A resident of a four-story building was injured,” – the law enforcement officers said.

Apartments, nearby shops and cars were damaged by the blast wave and debris, a private house was destroyed, others were damaged.

Currently, information about the victims and damaged property is being clarified. The police and other specialized services are working at the scene of events. Law enforcement officers record the consequences of enemy attacks, collect evidence of yet another Russian war crime, interview citizens, ensure law and order, and provide psychological assistance to victims. An investigation has been launched into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Kim also specified that shops and two cars of citizens, an apartment building, private residential buildings were damaged, one of them was completely destroyed. The blast wave damaged apartments, four shops, there was a breakdown of the heating network, there is a disconnection from the heating and gas supply.

As reported, around 2:45, explosions rang out in the regional center. Around 4 a.m., Kim reported the death of two people in the city. A 45-year-old woman was also injured. She was taken to the hospital.

At 5:38 a.m., Kim added that the death toll from the attack by Russian troops had risen to four.

At 6:34 it became known that the search was completed – the number of dead increased to 5 people.

“As a result of the flights, there is damage to residential buildings in various areas of the city, as well as non-residential premises. A fire broke out on one of the flights, which was quickly extinguished by rescuers. Our communal services are working on the ground. Surveys of the nearby territory are continuing,” added Oleksandr Sienkevych, the mayor of the Mykolaiv district.

Consequences of the attack on Nikolaev

The State Emergency Service said that a private one-story house was destroyed as a result of a UAV hit, and there is also destruction on the fourth floor of a four-story building. 3-4 floors caught fire, and there was also a fire in a private apartment.

Rescuers unblocked the bodies of the deceased. Psychologists work on site, 22 people have turned to them for help. One woman had an acute reaction to stress, she was hospitalized with a hypertensive crisis.
