Russian forces attacked a passenger train with drones twice in the Zaporizhzhia region, killing a train conductor.
According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) reported this on Facebook.

“Russians struck a passenger train with a UAV, killing a railway worker. The passengers had managed to leave the train before the attack – they were evacuated in advance under the escort of Ukrzaliznytsia employees,” the statement said.
The attack set one of the electric train’s carriages on fire. Approximately half an hour later, Russian forces attacked the rolling stock again, causing a fire in another carriage.
Rescuers extinguished the fires.
Because of the ongoing threat of further attacks, rescuers had to suspend firefighting operations and take cover.
Ukrzaliznytsia confirmed that a train conductor was killed in the attack.
“Unfortunately, we have confirmation of the death of our colleague in the enemy attack on a passenger train – a conductor on the Dnipro–Zaporizhzhia regional train. She returned to the train after the evacuation had been announced and a warning about the heightened danger had been issued. The enemy strike claimed her life,” the company’s press service reported.
As Ukrinform reported, Russian forces struck the Dnipro–Zaporizhzhia train, after which contact was lost with one of the conductors.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of the conductor.🕯️
It is yet another appalling display of ruzzian terrorism against Ukrainian civilians.
