Russian weapons can kill even after an attack: KMVA warned Ukrainians about the threat

Explosive objects can be activated by impact, shock, friction or heat.

Explosive objects may be found at and near locations in Kyiv that were damaged by Russia’s night attack – fragments of downed enemy missiles and drones, remnants of their warheads, and cluster munitions. The Kyiv City Military Administration ( KMMA ) reports this.

It is noted that under no circumstances should you touch or move suspicious objects with your hands. It is suggested to mark the location of the suspicious object with sticks, clothing, or stones.

The message states that it is necessary to warn other people about the discovery, take them away, and move yourself to a safe distance – at least 100 meters.

If you find such items, you should call 101 or 102.

It also says that you cannot use a telephone or other means of radio communication near a suspicious object, and you must not try to remove an explosive or detonator from it.

The message notes that explosive objects can be activated by even the slightest external impact – impact or shock, friction, and heating.
