Nine people may still be trapped under the rubble of a house in Kyiv destroyed by Russian occupiers. As an UNIAN correspondent reports, Andriy Danyk, head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, said this in a comment to journalists during an inspection of one of the locations in Kyiv affected by the Russian strike.

He noted that work at the impact site will continue at night.

“If there are no repeated enemy strikes, we will finish them in a fairly short time,” Danyk noted.

The Head of the State Emergency Service also noted that a total of over 600 firefighters and rescuers are currently working at various locations in Kyiv.

“We now have four active locations left that we are working on,” he added.

In addition, when asked by UNIAN about the victims at this particular location, Danyk clarified that 17 people were rescued there, 9 people may be under the rubble, and two more people died.

Service dogs are working at the scene to search for people. Technical search equipment – vibraphones – is also being used.
