On the morning of July 7, russian troops attacked Kharkiv with strike drones, causing fires and destruction in high-rise buildings. Among the 17 injured are three children.

The mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, and the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, have reported this.

“Kharkov was just attacked by two enemy drones of the Shahed type. Preliminarily, the Shevchenkivskyi District of the city was under attack,” Terekhov reported at 5:29 a.m.

The mayor warned that repeated attacks were possible, and within a few minutes he reported new explosions in Kharkiv.

Two more strikes occurred in the Slobidskyi District, also on high-rise buildings.

Initially, Syniehubov reported 4 victims in the Shevchenkivskyi District, including two children, and a fire on the 8th floor that covered about 10 square meters.

Later, Terekhov added that two people were also injured in the Slobidskyi District.

At about 7 a.m., the mayor clarified: “In the Shevchenkivskyi District, there are 11 victims, including two children. In the Slobidskyi District, there are three victims, including one child.”

At that time, Syniehubov reported that the total number of victims had increased to 17: 10 adults and 2 children in the Shevchenkivskyi District and 4 adults and 1 child in the Slobidskyi District.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 4, the occupation army shelled Kramatorsk with rocket artillery. Two people were injured and traumatized, and the invaders also destroyed an educational institution.
