Russian forces carried out a massive artillery strike on the village of Buhaivka in the Kharkiv region, killing five people.
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“On August 10, Russian forces carried out a massive artillery attack on the residential area of the village of Buhaivka in Chuhuiv district. The attack destroyed houses and killed five people,” the statement said.
The Chuhuiv District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kharkiv region has launched a pre-trial investigation into a war crime that resulted in deaths, under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As Ukrinform reported, on August 9, 24 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under Russian attacks, leaving nine people injured.
