The Kremlin does not currently plan to announce a new large-scale mobilization wave, although the russian army is suffering significant losses. The russian authorities continue to call contract soldiers to the front with money, although it is increasingly difficult to do so.
This is reported by The Guardian, citing sources familiar with internal discussions in russia.
According to the publication, there are currently no signs that vladimir putin has decided on a new large-scale mobilization. This was also confirmed by a high-ranking Western official, whose name is not mentioned.
Instead of forced conscription, the Kremlin will probably continue to rely on contract soldiers and volunteers. Thus, the russian authorities are trying to replenish the army without being exposed to the political risks that a new wave of mobilization may entail.
At the same time, it is becoming increasingly difficult to attract russians to the army with the help of large payments.
“The problem for the Kremlin is that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find people ready to fight, even for crazy money,” human rights activist Alexei Tabalov told The Guardian.
The Kremlin has partially shifted the responsibility for replenishing the army to the regions, forming a network of recruiters. Regional budgets have already spent more than RUB 7.7 billion (USD 96 million) on recruiting new contract soldiers. Recruiters are working according to plans with a system of bonuses and fines, but they admit that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find those willing to fight.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 14, Ukrainian soldiers neutralized another 1,370 occupiers.

FUBAR. 🤣
Nothing to be complacent about here.
Putler has plenty of orcs stationed elsewhere, such as the arctic circle, that he can call upon if needed.
Plus, there are still plenty of slime-covered worms masquerading as humans that can be signed up with the sort of money that they could not earn in several lifetimes,
Then there is the 50,000 fucking norks on the way,
Ukraine’s allies simply must put boots on the ground and planes in the air.
They only need to make Ukraine a member of NATO.
It was France and Germany; at the time both run by putlerstan assets, that put the kybosh on that idea.
Since then, Biden and Krasnov consolidated that scummy position.
Even Zal thinks it will never happen :
Ukraine will ‘never’ join NATO, ex-commander Zaluzhnyi says

That is why Nato is not fit for purpose.
Can you imagine Krasnov committing troops to the Balts if putler attacks?
Not Krasnov, but the United States and NATO.
Scragdel, good point. US boots on the ground would shift the conflict in a major way. It seems to me it would give the head orc pause, second thoughts… it would mead a nuke power ( with working nukes, in subs and b52s, b3s) would be up against whatever ruusty shit they have in silos.
