He had previously reported 16 injured and one dead.
“Unfortunately, one person died,” he said.
Earlier, the city’s mayor, Vitaliy Klitschko, reported 11 injured people, 9 of whom were hospitalized.
In addition, according to the State Emergency Service, in the Darnytsia district, the structures of a multi-story building collapsed after being hit. So far, rescuers have pulled 10 people from the rubble.
“Emergency rescue operations are underway to search for victims,” the rescuers added.
The State Emergency Service also reported that in addition to the high-rise building in the Darnytskyi district, debris was recorded falling onto the territory of a gas station at another address.
Regarding other areas of the capital, rescuers detailed that in Obolon, debris was recorded falling onto an open area and onto a three-story parking lot and business center building.
“Also, at another address, debris damaged an apartment in a residential building on the 12th floor and hit a 25th-story unfinished building, there are injuries,” the report says.
In the Dnipro district, according to the State Emergency Service, a fire broke out on the roof of a five-story residential building as a result of the attack. One victim was identified.
