The country’s foreign minister called for more air defense assets to be transferred to Ukraine.
Russian occupation forces continue to terrorize Kherson . As a result of enemy shelling, the building housing the Lithuanian consulate was damaged.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys reported this on social network X. According to him, this was Russia’s “New Year’s greeting”.
“Such cruelty and destruction must stop. We must provide Ukraine with more air defense and other capabilities necessary for victory,” the minister emphasized.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also shared a photo of the aftermath of the Russian attack:
