Russia will not transfer nuclear weapons to Iran – Medvedev responded to Trump’s criticism

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev,  in response to criticism from US President Donald Trump, stated that Russia is not going to transfer its nuclear weapons to Iran.

He wrote about this on the X platform,  Censor.NET reports .

Thus, Medvedev condemned the American strikes on Iran, stating that Washington “did not achieve its goals.”

“However, Russia has no intention of transferring nuclear weapons to Iran, since, unlike Israel, we are parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. I know very well what this will lead to, since as a president we have managed our nuclear forces. But other countries can do it – and that is what was at stake. And we certainly should not argue about who has more nuclear weapons. Moreover, the SNO-III treaty, which I once signed with the American president, is still in force – for now. The question is what will happen next?” – wrote the Russian official.
