UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemns the Russian Federation’s missile strike on a lyceum in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Odessa region, which resulted in deaths and injuries.

This was announced by the Secretary General’s spokesman Stephane Dujarric, Ukrinform reports, Censor.NET reports .
“We have been and remain very clear in condemning all attacks against civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, and especially schools. And we will continue to do so almost every day,” the UN Secretary-General’s spokesman said.
Commenting on the assumption that such attacks on civilians may be designed to silence the international community amid the military escalation in the Middle East, Dujarric emphasized that the UN tries to talk about Ukraine every day, despite the oversaturation of news from other regions.
“We cannot remain complacent about crises just because they are not in the top global headlines,” the spokesman said.
He noted that during military conflicts, “it is civilians who end up on the front lines, it is civilians who die, it is they who become targets.”
“And we feel our responsibility to keep these topics in the headlines,” Dujarric added.
It was previously reported that on June 23, 2025, the enemy attacked the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Odessa region, with ballistic missiles. An educational institution was destroyed, there were dead and wounded.

Doesn’t he understand that he and his organization are completely irrelevant to the world. His statements and actions are so weak no one looks at the UN as a serious organization. It should have been all minted decades ago
