Russia will “generously pay” North Korea for participation in the war with nuclear technology, – Seoul’s representative to the UN

The diplomat suggested that the DPRK would subsequently become an “active participant” in Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Russia may “pay” North Korea with nuclear technology for the participation of its military in the war against Ukraine, South Korea’s Permanent Representative Jonkook Hwang said at the UN Security Council, Ukrinform reports .

“For the participation of its units, North Korea will expect a generous payment from Moscow. This could be both financial and military assistance. This could also include technologies related to nuclear weapons,” Hwang said.

The diplomat suggested that the DPRK would subsequently become an “active participant” in Russia’s war against Ukraine. He called on Russia to immediately withdraw all its troops from Ukraine and recalled that long-term peace in the country is only possible in accordance with the UN Charter and international law.
