Russia will demand that Ukraine get rid of Western weapons to end the war.
As Censor.NET reports with reference to The Moscow Times, this was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko.
According to him, the Western weapons provided to Ukraine pose a threat to the security of not only Russia, but also Western countries.
“All these surpluses must be destroyed. All international algorithms are known. They (weapons) must be reduced, disposed of, and guaranteed,” he noted.
As an example, he cited the Stinger anti-aircraft missile systems transferred to the Mujahideen in Afghanistan, which then had to be “brought under control.”
“Even taking into account this experience, the degree of recklessness of those political figures who continue to throw weapons onto the market is striking, knowing full well that black markets are literally swelling with weapons, which, as a result of the implementation of corruption schemes, flow in a stream to different parts of the globe, including Europe,” said Hrushko.
