President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called for sanctions against russia’s nuclear energy and military-industrial complex.
He said this against the backdrop of a new combined attack by the aggressor country on the night of Saturday, November 8.
“The rescue operation in Dnipro is underway. At night, Russia struck the city – it hit a residential building. Russia has fired more than 450 attack drones and 45 missiles of various types at Ukraine. And the terrorists’ goals are unchanged: ordinary life, residential buildings, our energy, infrastructure,” the Head of State wrote.
According to him, russia will continue its war crimes as long as it has the necessary resources.
“There must be a European decision on Russian frozen assets, additional sanctions, support and strengthening of Ukraine’s defense. And for every strike on the energy sector by Moscow, which they want to harm ordinary people before winter, there should be a sanction response across the entire Russian energy sector without exception.
Russian nuclear power is still not under sanctions, the Russian military-industrial complex still receives Western microelectronics, and more pressure should be applied to oil and gas trade. We are counting on the appropriate decisions of America, Europe, and the G7 countries,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in addition to the Dnipropetrovsk Region, civilian infrastructure in the Poltava, Kharkiv and Kyiv Regions also suffered nighttime enemy attacks.
