Russia wants to mobilize 300,000 people this year and 300,000 people next year.

This was stated by Defense Minister Yevhen Khmara during a conversation with journalists, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

“Russia is considering the possibility of an additional wave of mobilization: to involve another 300,000 people this year and another 300,000 next year. This is a reaction to russia’s problems in the war, the constant increase in losses at the front,” Khmara said.

He is convinced that putin can only be stopped by the feeling that he is starting to lose this war. “This can only be done by force – and only effectively,” Khmara said.

According to the minister, russia is not interested in Donetsk or Luhansk separately, its goal is all of Ukraine. For Ukraine, this is an existential war.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russia is preparing to mobilize several hundred thousand people immediately after the elections, and several hundred thousand more next year. This fall, the aggressor country of russia intends to mobilize 300,000 people.

They can be sent both to Donbas and used to attack new areas in northern Ukraine. Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources, that the russian federation is conducting an inspection of military infrastructure on the eve of the announcement of a possible wave of mobilization.

Ukrainian partisans have recorded the arrival of special commissions at russian military training grounds. They are assessing the condition of the facilities and checking whether they can accommodate a large number of people.
