Russia Wants to Declare “Victory” in the War on February 24: What the Ukrainian Armed Forces Are Saying About It

Russia will try to achieve results in the summer and early autumn, believes Kirill Sazonov.

Russia’s plans to announce their alleged victory on February 24, 2025 are yet another information leak by the enemy. This opinion was expressed on air by Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman and political scientist Kirill Sazonov on Channel 24.

“This is a declaration of victory, not even over us, but over NATO. After all, they fought not with us, but with NATO, as they said… If they are going to such information leaks within society, then this means that they are demoralized. Moscow understands that 2025 is a critical year for them,” Sazonov said.

He added that the Russians can hold out until 2025. But they expect that they will be able to enter the negotiating track by the end of the year. After all, the occupiers will run out of resources to conduct military operations.

“We understand that time is on our side. No matter how hard they try to create the feeling that everyone has abandoned us,” Sazonov added.
